Most poetry magazines when choosing an aspect of the Irish landscape might explore the wild landscapes in the context of the sublime or maybe using a post-colonial methodology. Very few would be ‘inspired’ by the myriad shades of magnolia on the exterior of a thousand Donegal houses. That’s what makes us Abridged.
